Beautiful decorated peaceful farm experience

We stayed 2 nights on our way to the Cape and it was the perfect start to a trip-We loved the quietness,privacy and was so blessed to smell the Karoo after the rain. If your soul needs peace this is the place for you.

No negative comments.

The accommodation has everything you need: a kitchen with a stove and oven, an outdoor braai, a small (unheated) pool, and a garden table with chairs. Inside, we especially loved the bed and the bathroom. The proximity to nature is the absolute highlight: we could watch baboons and kudus directly from the accommodation, and once you head out on hikes, you find yourself in completely untouched wilderness, surrounded by all kinds of wildlife.

We arrived with a Toyota Corolla Quest and scraped the underside lightly once or twice — so a bit more ground clearance would be ideal. Alternatively, Niles and Will could smooth out the roughest spots a little (from the gate onwards on your property).

The cottage was so nice. I personally like simplicity and it was perfect for me. The area is beautiful and so peaceful. Great place for an overnight stay.

The little "pool" (180x180cm) was quit refreshing to relax in. I like the fact that the cottage is off the grid and solar powered. The host was very accommodating when we asked to arrive earlier than normal time.

The bed frame was noisy. I reported it, however, and the host did attend to it straight away. I trust that it is ok now.
