Fantastic charming rustic location in the hills. Isolated and quiet but conveniently close to Graaf-Reinet and the nature reserve. Enjoyed chatting to Niles, who was very helpful and friendly.

Pool pump came on automatically from time to time and was noisy. Large step from the bedroom into the bathroom is rather perilous at night for the unwary (me!). Shower drain was partially blocked.

"Awesome Karoo country cottage."

Tranquility & absolute isolation from city life.Cottage is rustic ,charming & clean. The cuddle puddle is a great idea for cooling down. The wood was dry & made great coals for a braai.

Some of The pots & pans needed replacement & weren’t that clean . The shower drain needed to be cleaned as it was blocked & unpleasant to stand in.
