When we asked about would the host was not friendly, he did not even smile

Very cosy with excellent facilities and masses of storage. The double room was particularly luxurious with lovely decor and a beautiful en-suite (big, fluffy towels!). I'm not sure how it's done but we hardly knew there was load shedding, which made it less stressful than a previous vist to Cape Town. The location, tucked away behind the main house (along with the other bungalow) felt very private and safe, and being next to the lagoon was stunning.

Some reading lamps in the sitting area would have been good.

The location was very good. Getting through secure gate was easy.

The noisy generator which came on at midnight till 2am.

The bottles of water on arrival was great, it saved us a trip to the shops. The bathroom was also nice.

The beds were a bit too small for us. We're both 1.85m tall and our feet dangled a bit.

easy walk to the lagoon and a short distance to the beaches. Most restaurants nearby as well. The aircon was great too , appreciated during the hot summer!
