Peaceful location, luxury bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas, the wood-fired hot tub and pizza oven with plenty of wood supplied. Local walks in forest.

Nothing at all, but it might be worth noting that during mid-winter months there won’t be much direct sunlight due to the surrounding hills - but no problem in March.

The property is an oasis of comfort enveloped in natural forest. I felt safe and comfortable on our stay and really loved to be able to explore the natural beauty of the forest. All the fixtures and fittings have been beautifully chosen for the space, it is well fitted out, a great combination of modern comfort and simple beauty of natural/traditional materieals like wood, stone and copper, combined with lush warm fabric and panoramic views of forest outside large windows. It is simply stunning.

The perfect place to unwind and disconnect, So peaceful and in sync with nature. A wonderful getaway especially for city dwellers craving peace, quiet and clean air.

The property is located in a secluded woodland area off of the main farm track and a short drive from the local farm shop and brewery. We had no worries about the security of the property during our stay. Boshuis Farm is a throwback to how AirBnBs used to be; well furnished, wonderfully clean and lots of homely extras. We were so happy when we arrived to find fire wood and fire lighters for the hot tub, pizza oven, fire pit, Braii and wood fire. Along with farm eggs, rusks and homemade peppers these were all lovely touches most properties seem to have forgotten about. The wood fired hot tub and fire pit were centre around our chilled days and cost evenings. The farm shop is a short drive away and has all of the basics you could need, along with pre-made pizza bases. The brewery also kept us well stocked with their takeaway beers. All in all an amazing stay and a highlight of our South African holiday.

Could have come with some kindling for the fire or a hatchet to strip smaller bits off of the wood. Apart from that nothing at all.

We had the most wonderful stay at The Boshuis, and it truly made our honeymoon unforgettable! This off-the-grid retreat, surrounded by nature, was the perfect place to switch off and unwind. The interior was just as stunning as the surroundings—thoughtfully designed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the peaceful vibe and the opportunity to truly disconnect from the outside world and enjoy each other's company. A highlight was the pizza oven, which made for a fun and delicious evening under the stars. We also received the most delightful sweet treats during our stay, which was such a lovely surprise. One of our favorite memories was waking up to the monkeys visiting us in the morning—such a unique and magical experience! The Boshuis made this part of our honeymoon feel extra special, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene escape in nature!
