The house is very comfortable and it feels nice and homely. We spent many hours on the verandah which has the best sea view and is so relaxing in a quiet neighborhood.

It was in a great location. The hosts left tea and coffee and that was amazing.

The cleaning fees were included in the ‘detail’ of the booking information but not included in the search price. I feel this is a way of showing a lower price up front and that is a little dishonest. The booking clearly states the cleaning fee applies to everyone so should be included in the lead price. The property was large and as described, but very dated. The showers were excellent regarding power and volume of water, but old and a bit tired. The power tripped when using the oven and kettle. There was a steep driveway that our salon car had trouble tuning into. Best to have a car with high clearance for this property.

The accommodation was like a home away from home. It had a magnificent fireplace which took the chill off the rooms and made it really cosey when it is cold and rainy outside. Annie the host was terrific and happy to answer any questions we had. Its well located especially if you want to see the penguins and sit on the balcony and whale watch!

The driveway is a little challenging, but the accommodation felt very safe and secure.

This is a great home from home! It had everything we needed. Lovely touches like filter coffee and great tea pot and casserole/roasting oven. We flew in, so we're very grateful for the herbs and spices provided as well as the provision of beach towels. We loved the meals on the veranda with such a beautiful view. The proximity to the beach was amazing. We so enjoyed the penguins and beach! Annie was a wonderful host and Beatrice was a most friendly, helpful and charming housekeeper. I was sorry that I did not have time to read the interesting books on the shelves. This house deserves a lengthy stay. A week was much too short, but we loved every moment.

The location was amazing! We came for the penguins (and rock hyrax, baboons, etc.) and loved the very short walk to reach the boardwalk and Boulders Beach. We could see and hear the ocean from the terrace. It was peaceful and lovely. The owners brought the key for our arrival and were helpful giving us a quick overview of area.

Annie was lovely and very helpful, she met us with the keys to the house within minutes of us arriving. And provided us with a reputable taxi service number that was great and very safe to use, which was very helpful. The house was lovely and clean and fully equipped with anything you can think of needing in a home away from home! Including bbq. There were 2 showers and a bath tub! Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The view from the bedroom and the balcony were stunning and it is only a short walk away from the beach where the penguins are. I would definitely recomend this property!
