Hand rail upstairs

The rooms were specious and had their own bathrooms. The views from the rooms were also amazing!

This was not a train smash but worth mentioning. There are no doors separating bathrooms from bedrooms so privacy is a bit limited.

Had everything we needed for self-catering. Location awesome and it was clean and tidy.

Considering the cost of the accommodation, the following is not acceptable and we are reporting these points for the sake of future tenants. 1) Child safety gate does not fit the staircase and is broken - do not advertise this as part of the facilities available. 2) Inside washing hanging frame is broken and outside line is frayed and floppy - needed for towels etc. 3) Upstairs back bedroom shower outlet was blocked and didn't drain so I had to clean it out. 4) Bottom bathroom paint is flaking off and sticking to wet feet. 5) Dishwasher drawer wheels have come off so the drawer does not slide easily. 6) Nespresso milk frother base is chipped as well as two dessert bowls are chipped. 7) Shortage of water glasses. 8) Main bedroom upstairs - one bedside light not working and the wire deco around the other one is hanging off. 9) Fan in the lounge did not work so we had to rewire the plug. 10) As you climb up the outside stairs to the seating area, the sharp end of the beam sticks out over the stairs and if you are looking down at the stairs you can miss this protruding beam. My son-in-law cut his head while carrying the baby up these stairs - suggestion to either cut back this beam or put a warning notice to duck........ 11) The gardening/window cleaning service did come but not to clean the windows that remained misty throughout our stay.

Stairs were a little challenging at the top and maybe a better hand rail would help.

We couldn't get enough of the incredible view. Andrea was such a helpful and kind hostess and easy to communicate with.

Unfortunately we couldn’t use the fireplace. And it seems to be broken already for quite some time? Because it was mentioned in the instructions. We needed the warmth of the fireplace during our stay in the middle of winter.
