Located deep in the heart of Mabalingwe Priave Resort, Baobab Lodge was a true oasis of tranquility and natural beauty. As we checked in, we were greeted by breathtaking views of the sprawling grasslands and the distant hills. The rooms were elegantly decorated in earthy tones and traditional African art, making us feel instantly at home. During our stay, we spent our days exploring the vast expanse of the surrounding wilderness, going on guided safari tours to see the incredible wildlife that called this place home. In the evenings, we gathered around the crackling fire pit, swapping stories and listening to the haunting calls of the nocturnal creatures that roamed the darkness. As we sipped on sundowner cocktails and watched the sun set, we felt a profound connection to the land and the wildlife that inhabited it. It was as if we had become one with nature, our hearts beating in time with the rhythm of the African bush. As we reluctantly packed our bags to leave, we knew that Baobab Lodge had left an indelible mark on our souls. We had truly enjoyed every moment of our stay, and we vowed to return one day to this magical place where nature reigned supreme and we felt truly alive.

A few of the lights were not working

We had a great stay as a family of 8. Lots of space for everyone. The view is beautiful and we saw a lot of animals from the house! The house is very well equipped. A note that the 4 single bed room and 1 of the double bed rooms are interlocking and thus you need to walk through the single bed room to reach the double bed room. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great view, great location had everything and more that we needed. Except a fondue set 😉. Inside joke from how great the house in equiped.

Baby gates and game vehicle needs some maintenance

The house is beautiful and spacious, it is all we expected. The owners are accessible by whattsapp. The caretaker and the cleaners are also accessible. We booked a game drive even though they dont have all the big 5 but it was worth it. we loved and enjoyed our stay.

The entry to the yard for small cars is not on it was a struggle. There is a hump at the gate and it is very steepy , if you drive a 4 wheeler then no worries.

It was an absolutely incredible experience. Gorgeous setting and all the comforts of home.
