"The place was absolutely lovely- wifi worked beautifully and every room was great.Garden was awesome"

8.0

We loved that it was perfect for the 8 of us staying there and was clean and the views were amazing.

We didn't know we had to switch the internet on in another room before it would connect( maybe write that on the wall where the password is? We couldn't contact either the host of the reception place as they didn't answer their phone-and we could not locate the house number on the street so just drove up and down..... but after 30 mins we managed to track down the reception- turns out it was closed for lunch maybe- but they were very nice then. Also it looks from the photo like you can walk to the sea fro the garden. This is not the case- it IS just a 5 minute walk down the road and across a road, but we felt a bit misled by the picture.

"Wonderful!"

10.0

Wonderful location, great view, a lot of peace and comfort. House had everything we needed and more. We did a company staff retreat and it gave us so much space to rest and work! It looks better than on the photos

In several rooms there is a strong humidity smell so the house needs to be aired more often or at least before the guests arrived. Other than that, it was perfect!

"We had the most wonderful time at Kwa Tibi. Enjoyed the accomodation and the surrounding"

9.0

A safe location. The house was easy to find. Although we were told to bring our own towels, dishwashing cloths and the dishwashing soap, we found them there. Utensils more than enough. Very specious house we did not feel we were 13. Bed very comfortable. A great place for a number of people.

The blinds in the main bedroom need fixing, we could not open the blinds to view the sea from the bedroom. Housekeeping for weekenders should be kept at a fee ofcourse. Being on holiday and have to do the chores is taking our time of having fun. I hope you will reconsider this.

"Ideal for a large family. Excellent location, comfortable beds. Well equipped"

So well laid out for a large family with plenty of bathrooms and each room opening onto a central courtyard. Well equipped and very comfortable. Lovely view and a very short walk from the beach and local coffee shack.

"An Amazing Gem for a relaxing family getaway"

9.0

the entire property was amazing, its a rustic feel, however, cosy and the facilities were up to date, all new appliances. Beds and bedding were so comfortable, that we enjoyed the rest just as much as the fun. pool table and tennis table keep the kids busy, the view and yard space was perfect for kids. the place would be perfect if there was a pool on the property however the beach is a short drive. will definitely be back, if you have a bigger family or a bigger group this is a must.

no direct access to beach short drive , and no pool onsite

"fantanstic"

Was running late because of traffic and brilliant arrangaments were made by host to ensure that we received the key.

The mould smell in one or two of the rooms, but some of it eventually went away as we opened the window. They must just make sure the house is well ventilated when not in use.

"Great location, lovely beach, nice house needing just a little TLC"

8.0

The house has a good location, very close to an uncrowded beach as well as walking distance to a good selection of restaurants. An uncrowded mini-mall with both Woolworths and a fab Spar, a few minutes up the road. The bedrooms are all spacious with comfortable beds. Kitchen has 2 fridges as well as a chest freezer which was a great bonus, as we had a full house. Ample crockery, albeit a hodgepodge of mismatched plates etc. likewise for the glassware. Good size kitchen to prepare meals for large groups, separate scullery a bonus to keep counters clear. Lounge and outside seating areas are comfortable with great views. Gardens are well maintained and kept tidy daily - having 2 braai's is also a good feature for large gatherings. Enough parking on premises (we had 3 cars and had no issues). The cleaning crew was efficient, timely, and friendly. The handyman (I forget his name) was also efficient and arrived promptly to attend to a minor issue. The agents were helpful and simple to deal with regarding payments, keys etc.

The house is a little "tired", she is showing her age. Bathrooms need attention (shower not sealed, resulting in a soaked floor ... walls needing a coat of paint ... rust stains .. faulty/non existent window catches) Bedroom windows have blinds that have seen better days, curtains would be so much simpler than fighting with blinds that are past their prime. Flooring has permanent staining in the dining/lounge area, probably to be expected from a house of this age. No dishwasher was a big surprise in a house that caters to so many people. An electric stove, while working, is also nearing the end of its life, a gas stove would make matters much simpler considering the power supply issues in South Africa. Solar or an alternate backup power supply would be recommended too.
