We enjoyed the location, beautiful garden and spacious facilities. The rooms were well appointed and the bedding was very comfortable. The best feature was the outdoor lapa area with full kitchen, indoor fireplace, dining table, chairs and its own bathroom.

What a lovely stay. Ester was such a good hostess and went out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and knew where everything was. We spent my brother's surprise 50th get together there and could not have asked for a more comfortable or convenient stay. It's close to a lot of the surrounding attractions which makes it an ideal place to stay at. The evenings were spent in the boma/lapa that was fully equipped with everything in it, so there was no need for carting of cutlery etc to be taken from the main house. I would highly recommend the Rosedale self-catering cottage to everyone needing accommodation in the midlands meander. Once again, thank you Ester for your hospitality and friendly, caring nature, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

There was nothing not to be liked at this lovely place

Well located in quiet and serene environment with lovely garden and braai area next to swimming pool. We were four couples each in their own comfortable room and had a great time. Will definitely visit again.

Although we are aware that the fourth bedroom on the veranda is not intended to be a full bedroom the curtains are totally see-through which makes things a bit difficult.
