Wonderful stay. So much room, excellent facilities, helpful staff, working internet, open fires (with wood!).

Spacious, lovely outdoor area. Fantastic showers.

The house provides privacy and peace. Beautiful garden and outdoor seating. We could do laundry and cook. The kitchen was fully equipped, incl. coffee, tea, sugar, milk. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. We felt safe. There was a supermarket, restaurants and other shops nearby. Close to tourist destinations also.

The cleaning lady came 2 hours earlier before our check out. We couldn't use the outside area for breakfast and didn't have 100% privacy. She had a cute baby with her so we didn't protest:-)

Lucy, the housekeeper was amazing! Rechargeable lights and a few other extras made the stay more enjoyable.

The potholes at the entrance were difficult to maneuver around. Slight damp smell in the rooms.

Lovely property. Very spacious and very clean. Right in the centre of town. Lucy was very friendly and helpful as was owner Hert.

Very spacious, perfect for 3 couples or a family group. Very well equipped, lovely garden and great location in the busy town but still quiet. Lovely housekeeper, Lucy. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house.

The owner was slow to respond to questions prior to the visit (although very responsive from once we were in the property), and arrival instructions weren’t clear. Given the wifi problems that routine power outages cause and the fact that guests may be on the road without access to internet it would be good to have clear arrangements beforehand. Also a guest information sheet in the property would be handy to inform about things like power outages (very normal in SA but international visitors are not so familiar with it) and house facilities like the gas oven and how to access the washing machine. Adult sized towels would be good!
