The Paper Fig House

This is your home away from home and whole lot more. The house is furnished so well with styling that is exquisite. The house is extremely clean and has everything you need. It was the perfect stay. Thank you Peter & Anneliese

Location and the place was quite nice and clean Kitchen equipment is great

The host was rude. Obviously not fort the first time as on the fridge was written : "We truly ask that if you have any negative comments or areas where we can improve, send them to us directly. We are more than willing to accept constructive criticism. What we ask is that you do not review the negative points on booking-com, as we cannot do anything about them once you have left." The answer I got when I texted to report we had no TV remote (so no TV at all) was "Well what should I do I am sitting in Port Elizabeth", quite rude... Indications to check-in could be clearer (we had the indications and key codes for key boxes of all the accomodations of the place) We were also asked to arrive 1h later than check-in and leave 1h before check-out time on Booking, otherwise we would have to pay R150 per hour. Sorry I had to write this on booking as you do not really take into consideration what your guests report when they are here as you ask them. I'm confident you can do better for next guests.

Nice comfortable space, had a great time in this very secure compound.

This was just… lovely. From the second we walked in, it felt like a little slice of bliss and the kind of place where you can just unpack and feel at home immediately. The outdoor area is super cute — perfect to hang out. Private, quiet, easy to relax, and zero stress. Location-wise, it’s spot-on. Close to the main road, easy drive to beaches and local spots. Just… happy!
