"Not what we had expected."

The place is pleasant and clean.

I am not sure what happened, but this was not the place we thought we had booked; we thought we were getting a one bedroom apartment, but it's a studio. There is only a partial wall separating the bathroom from the main room, and the outside seating area is right beneath one of the other apartment's bathroom, so we didn't feel comfortable sitting there. I'm sure the place would be fine for some people, and I wish I had let the host know immediately we arrived about our surprise to find it was a studio; she was very communicative and pleasant and may have been able to find a solution. We actually moved to another place for our last few days in Plett.

We absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to come back again. We will most definitely use the Paper Fig House every time we come up to Plettenburg Bay. It felt like home and even our pet settled in immediately and loved her stay as well. It is so central, and the Spar is within walking distance should you need anything. The Roadside Cafe also around the corner which is pet friendly and an awesome place to visit. Thank you for making our getaway so memorable!

"Fantastic home"

We booked the main house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our dog had a great time in the garden and enjoyed the balcony with us in the evenings.
