Quiet, tranquil and a perfect place to be still and completely relax. Loved the Donkeys.

Stairs going up to one bedroom a bit steep but not major issue

We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse, nestled in amongst trees and uphill of a wooded river corridor. The space was very tranquil, with donkeys, sheep and chickens passing through at various times of the day. We also loved the continuous birdsong. The beds were comfortable and rooms a comfortable size. The hosts were exemplary and very helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They arranged for an ironing board and iron on request - we were going to a wedding and needed to freshen up our clothes.

The bed linen is a bit old and stained in some places. It could do with replacing and the pillows aren't very comfortable.

We loved our stay in The Little Farmhouse - from the cosy interior, to the hot tub with complimentary firewood, the blissful private setting and the friendly donkey visitors, everything was just perfect!

Location was super. The veranda, braai and hot tub were the stars of the show - we loved this easy, relaxed vibe. The generosity of the hosts was incredible - and the atmosphere of peacefulness really contributed to a wonderful family get-together.

The kitchen was not very well equipped - we didn't have enough cutlery and crockery for the 6 people staying. The outside shower and bath tub were not in a great state. The upstairs bedroom stairs were very precarious and it would have been useful to understand that access to both bathrooms is via the bedrooms - was a little awkward.

The farm is in a beautiful setting, within easy reach of Stanford, Hermanus, Gansbaai etc. Nice and quiet with lots of bird life. The hot tub and donkeys were a real hit.

It felt like home away from home with a farm vibe.
