Giraffe plains

Everything was perfect. Great Location, Great scenery, very friendly staff, marvellous animals visiting the property regularly that made the stay enjoyable.

The sense of peace and the animal visitors. Zebra warthog monkey and mongeese. Anton was so helpful and welcoming

We liked the comfort of the house, the pool and the peaceful atmosphere.

The mattresses

The floor on the terrace was very slippery when wet. And there was no good drainage so it was almost permanently wet from rain or from the swimming pool

The location is fantastic. Waking up in the morning and seeing the wildlife roaming around the house is amazing (no dangerous ones I add) Anton the chap who looks after the house and the guests is lovely. We were so sad to leave. We could have stayed for weeks

This is not a criticism but just be mindful of South Africa’s energy companies load shedding policies. It’s where the electricity is off at certain times of day and night. This wasn’t a problem for us as we knew about this as it’s our third visit to the country. But don’t let this put you off staying at Giraffe Plains. You will not be disappointed.

I loved everything about this place, it was exactly what the pictures showed. The place was neat and clean . Fully equipped kitchen. Antony was a great help, very friendly.
