It was close to the ocean. Very beautiful house and it can accommodate a big group of people

There was a leakage through the thatch in the rooms upstairs

We’ve had an amazing weekend. The house is perfect and beautifully looked after. It’s very close to the beach and the hosts are some of the best we’ve ever had. We would definitely return and recommend this holiday house to friends.

Die Anker at Langezandt is a beautiful, spacious, white house in the Strandveld style, with a thatch roof. The house is in an immaculate condition, very well equipped, beautifully and stylishly appointed, with pure white quality linen. Colleen du Toit is an excellent, considerate host, who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. It is within a short walking distance from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and can recommend the accommodation without any reservation

The owners' responded immediately to questions or queries. They went above and beyond to assist us wherever possible and were always so friendly. The house was fully equipped with everything you might need, with ample space for old and young. Walking distance to the beach. Would definitely go back again - we had a wonderful time.

Our experience during our stay was exceptional. The accommodation precisely matched the descriptions and images provided. The host maintained superb communication throughout our stay. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone traveling with a sizable group. The layout of the house ensures ample space and privacy for all occupants. The furniture is well-maintained and equipped with all the essentials you'd anticipate in a residence. The setting is delightful, situated in a picturesque estate.

The owners were very accommodating and responsive to any questions. The beach is so close and we felt really safe walking to the beach and letting the kids cycle in the complex. Lots of sleeping space and cosy lounge and fire place, and also a lovely outdoor braai area.

This is such well equipped & cleverly designed home. There is plenty of space for an extended family. The kitchen & braai facilities were fantastic. The house is built around a central courtyard which must provide lovely shelter on windy days. The beautiful beach (with warm water which is so unusual for the Western Cape), was within easy walking distance. The estate feels safe. During load shedding the was an inverter that kept the WiFi working & allowed for charging of phones & laptops etc. Emergency lights & globes helped with lighting.
