Kalyva Cycladic house - Oia Santorini

We loved everything about this property. I would highly recommend it. The place was very clean and in a great location. The host met us upon our arrival with the keys and explained everything about the area, places to eat, and things to experience. He kept in constant contact with us throughout our stay.

We couldn’t recommend this enough. Faye and Konstantinio were excellent hosts, the property was beautifully presented and in such a great location. It gave us the ability to have peaceful evenings yet still be well positioned to explore Oia.

Everything was perfect! We had the perfect experience thanks to the house and the landloard. Who helped us with a absolutely everything. This house is really worth the money. The house was spacious and perfect for a big family, it had a beautiful view of the ocean and the village. We had breakfast everything morning in the cute terass. The house was close to everything thing but still not among all the turists. So we had some privacy.

Kalyva is a gem in the heart of Oia. It is THE place to stay if you want a perfect experience of Oia. It is impeccably clean and tastefully furnished to provide every guest a most comfortable and safe stay. Konstantino and Faye personally attended to all our needs and would thoughtfully check on us from time to time. Communication was smooth and we really appreciate their kindness in helping us with our luggage as my friend,Jo, had a bum knee. Thank you very much, Konstantino and Faye for a most memorable stay!!!

This was a really cool historic stone house right in the center of Oia. It was decorated very nice and both bedrooms were comfortable. We loved the bluetooth speaker provided, and the rooftop deck was a great view. Although it sits on a main path to the center, it felt private and the windows and doors shut at night really blocked out noise. We loved walking to all the good restaurants, the sunsets and the shopping. Host was super accommodating & communicative.

We had a challenge finding the house, despite Google coordinates - there are no markings or signs to say the name or address of the house- it sits on a busy street and there is always traffic so you have to keep moving. We had nowhere to park with our rental car and were not sure what to do. Host met us and all worked out but I would recommend clearer instructions beforehand for both a) the location and be) where to park. People are in an unfamiliar country and customs so explaining all this would alleviate some stress. The kitchen needs a little attention. We are cooks and there wasn't a cutting board or even one good prep knife. No potholder, clean sponge or kitchen towels. The dishes and pots could be more easily stored for accessibility maybe some new shelving or storage chest.

Beautiful house in a perfect location. Staff were very friendly and helpful arranging transfers from the airport and to the port, also providing excellent recommendations for food and drink. Perfect place for a stay in Oia.

This accommodation didn't have many reviews, so I hesitated for a long time, but the actual accommodation was much wider, cleaner, and better than the photos. They checked me in kindly, and the facilities were fully prepared. At night, it was slightly away from the main street, so I was able to sleep soundly without any noise. I highly recommend it. Don't hesitate.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room and the roof top were spacious, clean, and quiet with a nice view. It also had good amenities like a quality speaker and cooking equipment. Overall, a comfortable stay in a great location.

The hot water supply was inconsistent, but since it was summer, it wasn't a big issue. The staff mentioned they are working on fixing it. I guess it will not affect anybody anymore.

Wonderful hosts! Friendly and attentive. We received instant replies to any questions we had. Great location just minutes away from the main thoroughfare, but removed from the noise. The house is gorgeous and the patio, with a seaview, had enough space for us to practice yoga in the mornings. Just what we were looking for! Thank you.
