We had a friends getaway and stayed here for 5 Nights. We had the best time. Beautiful location- amazing spot for sunsets, sunrises and stargazing. All the comforts of home.

The dirt road leading up to the house could be better in certain spots as there were large trenches and dips. The house does have the potential to be off the grid in the future (Solar etc) which would result in a more luxury experience.

This was a wonderful weekend getaway, the house is located in the perfect spot if you're looking for some peace and quiet. This home has all the ingredients for a great weekend.

There wasn't any back up power, although it does have a gas fire place, so we were still able to keep warm. No showers when the lights are off due to the water pumps being electric. With that being said, it's still an amazing property that we'll definitely visit again :)

The location was fantastic, and the views were spectacular. The house had everything we needed for a group of 10. The fireplace is awesome for cold winter nights. The beds are comfortable and warm. The caretaker Mike, was very helpful and accommodating. The pictures don’t do Misty Ridge justice. It’s truly amazing!

A beautiful property set out in an isolated area. The silence was just what we needed. Mike was absolutely amazing 🙏🏽

The drive up on the gravel road, but I suppose it’s part of the adventure 😁 also we had to sort of leave earlier due to another booking. We weren’t forced to but because the maids had to come in and clean, we just sort off packed up and left.

The lake for sure and the gas stove and braai.

1.Gas ran out on the heater 2.The shower had iced cold water and the shower cubicle floor was really dirty. 3.Kitchen tap needs some love 4.Kitchen needs a bit more eg. can opener/dishrack
