Shanty's House

Suasananya oke, sejuuk, jauh dari kebisingan, nyaman. Pemandangan malam hari wow banget

Shower mandi dan waterheater yg tidak bekerja dg baik saat di pakai.. air yg keluar gemericik..kedinginan. Juga banyak lalat, mgkn Krn dekat persawahan/kebun ada pupuk kandang (mungkin)

View depan rumah indah apa lagi klo malam hari banyak lampu2 pemandangan kota batu

Shower nya kecil airnya,,lebih baik di sediain gayung dan ember

So comfortable and homey if you’re traveling with your family. The view was great, amenities were sufficient, and the location was quite strategic.

Irawan is a superb host. He is very attentive, responds quickly and assists in all possible ways. The traditional house is spacious with lovely teak floors, 3 large bedrooms that comfortably sleeps 6 people and two outside seating areas with great views. We liked the setting - on a hill overlooking the village. Shanty's house is surrounded with vegetable patches and flower beds. There is warm water which is a plus, as well as drinking water. The house was cool due to the rainy season. This stay enabled us to feel, in some way, part of the hustle and bustle of daily local life! A five minute walk leads to a Javanese cafe serving excellent coffee and good food.

It's our first time in Indonesia and it took some time at Shanty's house to get used to the daily prayer calls, amplified by the valley down the hill. The interior walls could do with a lick of paint. The bedrooms can benefit from small bed side tables and maybe some light to read by and the kitchen with some new dish towels.
