NLThe place was incredibly spacious with a beautiful view on to the dam. We enjoyed making a braai every evening and hearing the red weavers chirping at sunrise and sunset. Nikki was also very welcoming and recommended a bunch of activities to us, many of which made the experience so much nicer. One of them was to feed Lucy, a hand-reared giraffe – it was one of the highlights of our stay!
The kitchen wasn't kitted with some things that would've been nice, for example a colander and frying pan.
BEThis is honestly the greatest self catering place I have ever been to. What I didn't know upon booking is that you get the entire place for yourself. It's a magnificent place with your own lake, beautiful outside spaces, great kitchen and dining area and nice rooms and you have it all just for you. You are also located within the farm of the owners who are closeby so its very safe and peaceful at all times. The very nice owner Nicky is also one message away at any time in case it's needed. In 5 minutes driving you are at the addo shopping where you can find anything you need and 10 minutes drive more brings you to the entrance of Addo Elephants park so its also a great location. We had to leave the place this morning but could easily have stayed a few weeks. Its really great!

DEKlein Plekkie is located in a citrus yard/plantation, a bit away from civilazation :-) It is really a special setting at a nice dam, which can be used for swimming or kayaking. The kitchen is located in a 20-feet container, which is now a part of / included in the living area. The bedrooms ( in total 3 - one with bathroom en-suite and two with sharing bath room) are separate. You find all needed for a self catering location. We were very surprised about this wonderful location and can only highly recommend to stay there when being at Addo. Especially for families and outdoor fans this is the place to be!!

ZALovely setting, on a dam. We'll equipped, and comfortable. What a lovely place to get away! A short drive to Addo National Park. We enjoyed every moment. Nicky was great and very helpful.
GBThe facilities were unique and the view spectacular. The hosts are lovely. The property was well equipped with little extras.
The only thing I made us feel uncomfortable were all the cameras outside the house.
