Great value for money. Nice & cosy especially with the log burner. Logs are £5 and they give a generous amount, lovely touch that they had started a fire for us upon arrival. Friendly owners/staff. Cutest little pygmy goats on site. Thank you for a lovely stay, highly recommend and will be choosing to stay here again when next visiting family.

It couldn’t have been any better. As someone travelling solo, feeling safe and well-located is everything, and this place absolutely delivered. Peaceful, welcoming, and close to so many lovely spots. I brought my dog along too, and I’ve found that “dog-friendly” often means compromising on comfort or cleanliness. Not here. You’d never know dogs were allowed—it was spotless, stylish, and felt like a true home-from-home. The team went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Thoughtful touches, genuine kindness, and a real sense of care. Just perfect. If you’re looking for a stay that’s safe, serene, and truly dog-friendly without sacrificing quality—this is it. I’ll definitely be back.

Very nice comfortable, homely place. Host very friendly and welcoming

It would have been nice to have a small jug of milk left on arrival. However far you travel it's always nice to have a cuppa when you get there.

"Comfortable cottagw getaway"

So clean and well looked after. Felt instantly comfortable with all necessities catered for.

How thin the walls were between each cottage. No sound proofing. What was a relaxing getaway was taken away slightly by not being able to sleep for neighbours just talking. Felt like they were in the room with us.
