Stibb Farm Cottage at Sandymouth

Very spacious, clean and in good condition. Host was really helpful and looked after us.

Great location for walking along the coastal paths. Liked the wood burning stove. The kitchen was well equipped for an occasional evening meal. The host was friendly and eager to respond to fix any issues.

The property description says two bathrooms. In reality there's one spacious family bathroom with a shower over the bath. The other bathroom is just a small cupboard with a shower cubicle, no toilet and no sink. There is a downstairs cloakroom with a toilet and sink which is what we used for teeth cleaning etc whilst the family bathroom was in use. The central heating worked well upstairs (early April '24) but did not work well downstairs, leaving the kitchen and lounge quite cold. The wood burning stove helped, but didn't keep the whole of the downstairs warm enough.

more cups, plates glasses, cutlery and larger pots would have been better for a party of 7
