Enchanted Hideaway, Bath

Plenty of room and close to town. Great that you could park two cars outside.

The upstairs shower wasn’t happy when the downstairs shower was on!

The house itself was fab! The lounge/dining area was a great space to spend time with friends. Kitchen was well equipped. It was a good location to walk into the city centre. Owners were friendly and I imagine responsive should we have had any issues (which we didn't)

There wasn't anything we didn't like!

Great for a group of friends as lots of beds and bathrooms. We liked the sitting/ dining room. Large comfy sofas and a big table. A short walk to the centre of Bath.

On a busier road but didn't really impact us.

The door at the rear was difficult to lock and unlock. The upstairs shower cubicle was slippery.

The decor and style was just beautiful, loved how lots of old furniture had been upcycled. we also loved how spacious everywhere felt. easy heating system. lovely shower. great big tv and comfy sofas

the only thing is we felt the kitchen didn’t fit in keeping with the rest of the house. we made a meal one night and the chefs felt so separated - but this wasn’t a huge issue at all. kitchen facilities were brilliant

Ideal for entertainment space, good size bathrooms, good facilities, lots of bed options! Two parking spaces, walking distance to the centre or bath. Very good communication from host.

The mattress on the double bed was quite uncomfortable

Such a lovely house, well decorated and so good for socializing. Lovely sized living room, beautifully decorated with a love;y large table and seating area. We really enjoyed the bar area, and spent most of our evenings playing cards and enjoying the fact that we could all be together in one room. Bathrooms were lovely, the whole house is very quirky and you can see how much thought had gone into the decor of the property, The front drive provided perfect off street parking for two cars, although the road is busy we were able to park the cars safely. Much easier to reverse on, as you can then get off the driveway easier. We did take a while to find the property on the road, but we were looking on the wrong side, I would recommend looking at the property on google maps as it shows the front of the property on the street...and once you see the front of the house and the buildings near, you cannot miss it, something I should have checked prior lol The kitchen is well equipped and we did cook a couple of nights we were there, equipment supplied for self catering was very good. There was no iron or ironing board at the property but the hosts Vicky and her husband were so accommodating and dropped the items off the next morning. Excellent communication, they have a lovely house and perfect hosts. Only a 10 minute flat walk to central Bath, very easy to get bearings and we didn't get lost once !! This is the perfect property if you wish to get away with the family or a large group of friends. The hosts are great, we will definitely be returning again.

Nothing at all, the house was perfect for our trip away, The only comment that was made, was about the double bed being a bit uncomfortable,, but beds are a very personal thing and my daughter is pregnant and more sensitive to bed springs.

It was self catering for us, but the kitchen was well equipped, the whole house was lovely. Great location, easy to get around.

Maybe a couple more loo rolls would be good. And could do with waste paper bins in the rooms. We could have put the bins out but didn't know what day the dustman came. A hoover would be handy as a picture fell and it would have cleared up the broken glass more easily we only had a dust pan and brush.
