Really enjoyable holiday in Oia, it’s the best place in Santorini if not in the whole of Greece. There are 2 houses sharing the same yard, we stayed in a smaller one. As the other property wasn’t rented out we had the yard which has sea views for ourselves. Location is great only 2 mins walk to the Main Street. The house is outside the old town and iconic cave-hotels of Oia but it is more suitable for the families and is slightly cheaper. There is a Thai restaurant with decent (compare to crazy high in old Oia) prices across the road, as well as a supermarket and an ATM. The host kindly let us store our luggage after the check out. There were 3 bottles of water and a juice in the fridge upon arrival. Amenities like shampoo etc were provided.

We didn’t know that room service was included and the cleaner came while we were still asleep. When no one answered she just opened the door and entered the room. There is no “do not disturb” sign to hang and as we only stayed for 2 night we definitely didn’t need any cleaning, so preceded a bit more privacy. There is a washing machine but no clothes rack to hand the clothes, so we had to improvise for drying. I think if both houses are occupied it might be even less private as they share both the front yard and the back yard where there is a bedroom glass door. If you have lots of luggage it might be a problem as the property is only accessible by walking up the stairs from the main road. There is however an option to hire a porter for 10-15euros. Our host helped us with one of the suitcases on the way up, but when we were leaving we had to drag everything ourselves

It was very clean and nice. Staff was very helpful, always asked if we needed anything. It has a kitchen which was very important while we were there as the food is quite expensive there

The location is great...It's only a couple of minutes walk to the main street of Oia and you don't get the crowd so the stay is quiet.

Lack of parking facilities

Great location close to the main walking strip in Oia. House was clean and perfect for the two of us during our 3 night stay. We didn't use the kitchen very much but I think we could have. Would stay again. Host was kind and help schedule our transfer to the airport on the last day.

Meeting to get the keys was a little difficult. Some of the doorways in the house are only 6ft tall and I (being 6'2") ended up hitting my head a few times. More of an inconvenience than a problem. Shared courtyard with neighboring guests is OK.

Very comfortable clean place and great location. Great host, very accommodating and helpful. Greatly appreciate the late checkout which was a huge help due to my late ferry.

Water flow of the shower could be stronger.
