Casa da Travessa - casa de férias no coração de Faro

Lokalita bola veľmi dobrá, blízko centra a len mierne hlučná. Blízko je veľa dobrých kaviarní, reštaurácií a možností sa naraňajkovať. Destinácia má letisko, tak treba počítať s hlukom lietadiel v raňajších hodinách. Dalo sa parkovať v blízkosti za poplatok aj cca 10 min. pešo bezplatne. Ubytovanie bolo veľmi pekné, čisté, a naozaj veľkoryso priestranné. Kuchyňa s lódžiou je dobre vybavená. Majitelia boli veľmi milí a ústretoví a naše požiadavky riešili vždy promptne. Je to jedno z najlepších ubytovaní v okolí a boli sme tam veľmi spokojní.

Posteľ v menšej izbe bola užšia, ale spať sa dá aj na rozkladacej pohovke v obývacej izbe, keďže sme boli 4.

Staying in this Faro apartment felt like stepping into a small, sun‑kissed miracle. Its location alone is a treasure: right in the heart of the enchanting old town, where every narrow street seems to hum with history and warmth. Everything is within reach, yet the city itself invites you to wander slowly, to discover its corners with a sense of wonder. Faro is a jewel of the south — a paradise for the curious traveler. The apartment is vast and full of light, offering three spacious bedrooms, a generous living room, a large, welcoming kitchen, and a charming little terrace perfect for an evening glass of exquisite Portuguese wine. It’s a place that breathes comfort and calm, a home that gently embraces you after a day of exploring. And then there is Isabela. A beautiful woman with undeniable charisma, carrying a life rich with extraordinary stories. She is a walking inspiration — a well of knowledge about the world, about Portugal, about Faro itself. One could listen to her for hours. The only regret is that she couldn’t be kept in the apartment throughout the stay; her presence alone adds a rare, unforgettable charm.

Property was immaculate! Everything you could possibly want and more. Situated perfectly, close to everything but quiet enough at night that it was great to relax in. Spacious and very comfortable. Can only say that we are already looking to see when we can make it back here 10/10.

Nothing to dislike, great find.

Central location and really easy to walk to places in Faro. The house was nice and clean, and kitchen was well equipped. We felt like we were living in Faro. We could see a couple of stalks nesting on the top of nearby church from our windows as well!

The parking spot in front of house is not free during week. (Free on weekends) Free public car park isn't far but you might want to know beforehand.

Location to town centre, old town and restaurants. Well equipped and friendly welcome from Isabel.

Maybe put a wall holder in for shower.

Great accom which was laid out well, full working kitchen and pleasant view of a square in old town. 2 double bedrooms one with A/C.the other with a fan. Great location within walking distance to the harbour where you can catch a ferry to the beach and the train station, a trip to nearby Tavira highly recommended. We would stay again.

The shower hrad is missing it's holder so you need to hold it, it's an easy fix. The mattress is extra firm.

Gostei muito do atendimento do check-in. A Isabel foi muito simpática. A acomodação fica perto de tudo. Voltaria outra vez.

Great communication with host. Charming Isabel met us at the apartment with a warm welcome. Welcome gift on arrival was appreciated. Location was great with plenty of restaurants and supermarket nearby. Short walk from the bus station.

La casa es muy calurosa incluso con el aire acondicionado (que no existe en una de la habitaciones, lo que la hace difícil de habitar en días de mucho calor).
