Jopes Mill and Lodge

Liked everything about it. It was a beautiful and peaceful place. Very clean and had everything we needed and more. The owners were lovely and informative.

There was nothing we didn't like about the place and if we ever go down that way again, then this is where we would look to stay

The friendly welcome, the location, the comfort. One of the nicest places I have ever stayed in.

Warm welcome and lots of lovely touches such as home pressed apple juice, biscuits tea coffee and milk. The plentiful log supply and beach towels were very much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful and peaceful spot. We’ll be back! Thank you.

Wouldn’t change a thing.

Beautiful old mill with original unique features inside. Large property with large rooms. Fantastic location with onsite parking. Very quiet and lovely walks along river. Extremely clean with thoughtful amenities inside property. Lovely wood stove in lounge and streaming services on tv. Lovely couple who own and run the place. So helpful and friendly.

Primarily the location, it was absolutely stunning. We stayed in the lodge and were able to sit on the terrace under the roof listening to the stream and watching the wildlife.

To be honest, there isn't anything I can think of.

Perfect location, very spacious, well equipped. Hosts were so helpful.
