Simple and great place to stay.

Location is farer from the big streets than I thought. Must drive to come here.

Feeling Home & Away, located at the hill side. The apartment is fully furnished with all needed essential. Check in was easy and car park conveniently located at the house entrance. Certainly will recommend this lovely villa. Should had stay for 2 nights 😏

This is a very nice home. It was comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. It is a relaxing place to stay. Nice view too. They had soy sauce, oil, salt and pepper on hand, and left a gift of rice for our use.

We had trouble with the driving instructions, despite the host's attempt to clarify them. The key was tricky to use. The host requested not to cook meat, which seemed a shame with such a nice kitchen. Still, quite a nice place, I would recommend it.

An quiet spacious country house on the forest edge with lovely views of Mt Aso. Driving & check in instructions were clear and easy (indeed Google Maps cannot be followed). Appreciated the bag of rice from the hosts as well as various information such as the nearby hike. There are only two Western single beds, more travelers will have to enjoy the futon instead.

Perhaps the Japanese are early risers so there is no need for proper curtains to block out the morning light? There were a lot of ants, but that cannot be helped when one is living next to the forest. Parts of the house didn't seem to have been cleaned, but it is hard to say since spider webs can come up quite fast.

Great place to spend with family, having BBQ and overlooking Mt. Aso. Appreciated the welcome gift. Kitchen is well equipped.

BBQ set rental price was a bit steep.
