Rooms are spacious, well lit, well maintained gardens attached to rooms. Nice lush greenery around. Kids park is well maintained. Ideal place to spend a good time for a family get together.

Somewhat far if you are planning for sightseeing Mahabaleshwar for more than 1 day. Uphill n downhill rides can be exhausting.

The staff was super friendly and helpful in all ways.

The room didn’t meet the expectations. Fan was too noisy.

The food is the best part about Anandvan. They make wonderful food and feed you well. The dinner, the breakfast... everything was perfect. Plenty, and all of it delightful. The place is quiet, and there are trees around. There are also facilities like a common playing area where you can play carrom, TT and foosball. You could also carry your badminton kit and there is enough place to play. The swimming pool is also cleaned up and maintained.

The bathroom in the room is a complete letdown. The bathrooms and toilets are separate, like in old Mumbai flats. Not the experience you wish to have in a resort. I believe the Gulmohar suites in the property have proper bathrooms. Even these are not quite what you expect in a resort.

over priced rooms (we stayed in Machan) and poor service. We asked for an extra white quilt which they didn't have, instead we were given a brown blanket (used in trains) for a non-ac room. We stayed Machan, rooftop rooms, which was small. It was just a stopover for us so wanted to catch up on sleep, but the owners dog kept on barking all night and there was no one to attend to. No housekeeping available on call in the night also. When we raised this issue with the manager in the morning, he had an absolute careless and indifferent attitude.
