Stunning location and beautifully renovated cottage, everything you could need including a patio area that we had our meals on each day listening to birdsong and watching lambs playing. Couldn't ask for more

Lovely cottage

This wee cottage was a Gem of a find. For me the location was a priority, I wanted to be close enough to visit family in Maud, but not too close😏. The distance to the village is 2 miles, an 8 minute drive or you can hop the fence and walk the old railway line, a pleasant 40 minute walk to the center of the village. The cottage is at the end of the Farm road (no through traffic) and surrounded by fields, with great views of the hills. The cottage is nicely decorated and super clean. A well appointed kitchen with everything you need for a weekend stay. The bedrooms are a good size as is the lounge. Ps. The shower was good too.

The only issue was the shower base as there is no grip. Slippery when wet!
