Annas house

Η διαμονή μας στη Σύμη ήταν πραγματικά υπέροχη! Η τοποθεσία του καταλύματος άριστη, με εύκολη πρόσβαση με μηχανάκι σε όλα και υπέροχη θέα. Ο χώρος ήταν δροσερός, πεντακάθαρος και πλήρως εξοπλισμένος με όλες τις ανέσεις που χρειάζεσαι για άνετες και ξεκούραστες διακοπές. Οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν εξαιρετικοί άνθρωποι — ευγενικοί, χαμογελαστοί και πάντα πρόθυμοι να βοηθήσουν. Θέλω να κάνω ιδιαίτερη μνεία στην ιδιοκτήτρια, την Άννα, που με το χαμόγελο και τη θετική της ενέργεια έκανε τη διαμονή μας ακόμη πιο όμορφη. Ήταν πάντα διαθέσιμη να μας εξυπηρετήσει και να μας καθοδηγήσει, ενώ μας διηγήθηκε με πάθος την ιστορία του νησιού της, τις παραδόσεις, τα θρησκευτικά έθιμα και τα πολιτιστικά του στοιχεία. Μια εμπειρία φιλοξενίας που θα θυμόμαστε για πάντα και σίγουρα θα θέλαμε να ξαναζήσουμε!

Ήταν όλα εξαιρετικά. Έμεινα πολύ ικανοποιημένη τόσο από το νησί που είναι πανέμορφο και γραφικό με υπέροχες παραλίες όσο και από τα υπόλοιπα. Το κατάλυμα ήταν πεντακάθαρο, ευρύχωρο, πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και το κρεβάτι πολύ άνετο. Πραγματικά έκανα τον ωραιότερο ύπνο καθόλη τη διάρκεια της παραμονής μου στη Σύμη. Όσο για την Άννα έχω να πω τα καλύτερα. Πρόσχαρος και διακριτικός άνθρωπος, πολύ εξυπηρετική σε ότι κι αν χρειάστηκα. Πραγματικά έκανε την διαμονή μου στο νησί υπέροχη. Σε ευχαριστώ πολύ Άννα για όλα (..κ για το κέικ!!!😁). Σας προτείνω να επισκεφτείτε το νησί το συντομότερο. Είναι υπέροχο.

very central in the upper village. very beautiful and the hostesse is fantastic. she helps with everything. Room was clean and had everything we needed.

Stunning views, amazing host who was very friendly and went out of her way to welcome us. Anna also made a restaurant reservation for us and gave us info about buses and taxis. On arrival there was water and wine in the fridge for us.

The bus runs every hour from the port so we decided to walk which was very challenging with suitcases! A taxi costs 15euros.

I liked everything. From the minute we got there Anna was the kindest person we could have asked for. Helping us so much to get to the accommodation, and making us feel so welcome. She even gave us keychains on arrival which was so lovely of her and the view from the apartment might be one of the best I have ever seen. On our first night there, we were lucky enough to have heard about a festival and celebrations surrounding the blessing of the bread. When we got there, there was free drinks, Moussaka and fantastic live music and everybody dancing. Anna got my girlfriend up to dance with everyone else, and eventually myself. It was an unforgettable experience and so kind of her to make us feel so included and welcomed at a traditional and cultural festivity, as the only tourists there. An experience I will never forget. Also, her entire family including her son and her husband were by far and away the best dancers there also.

Anna herself is a gracious hostess, providing clear directions to her beautiful flat, which boasts a breathtaking view of the port from above. Our room was impeccably clean, rivaling any hotels. Anna’s warmth and friendliness shine through as she offers helpful suggestions for things to do and places to visit in Symi - bringing comfort to the unawareness of a first time tourist. She also ensured we were aware of the bus timetable and provided us with a taxi number, given that we didn’t have a car. Without a doubt, my next visit will be at Anna’s. Thank you, Anna, for making our stay so memorable

A beautiful clean apartment, with an amazing view of the port. Everything perfect 👍 well equipped, comfortable bed, and very clean. Anna was super-helpful and friendly. She welcomed us with a bowl of grapes. The wifi was fine. We had no problems with anything and a lovely holiday.

Anna was a wonderful host. This was my first time going to Greece as a 25 year old girl. (My uncle and I made a vacation plan to see Greece.) She not only hosted me overseas, but she went with me to a few touristic places. She took me to a museum and to the Monastery of the Archangel Michael. She gave me a wonderful tour of the city. Of course, I was very thankful and felt like I belonged and a part of her family. Highly recommend!

I would say the location is on a hill and I was not used to the hike. Other than that, the whole trip was worth it and I will never forget this lifetime experience.
