"A peaceful retreat"

Huge comfortable beds with mosquito nets! Outside bathroom. Amazing being in the middle of nature. Wonderful falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle at night, a symphony of peace and calm. Swimming pool was like swimming in paradise! The bustling centre of Ubud is only a 20-30min drive away, but lots of other sites to visit in the vicinity too (by car). Staff were very friendly and breakfast was a delight. We would stay here again if we came back to Ubud!!!

Lots of cupboards, but some shelves quite dusty. Impossible to dry your swimming suits, towels etc. outside even with the sun shining, but that’s not really the fault of the resort but due to the humidity of the jungle!

Wo soll ich nur beginnen? Wir waren mit 2 Kindern für 3 Nächte im Joglo 1 in der Villa Mahadevi. Der Aufenthalt dort war wie ein Traum! Wie in einer von Rudyard Kipplings Geschichten. Der Empfang von Gusti und seinem Team mit einer kühlen Erfrischung, das liebevoll ausgestattete und saubere Zimmer, das offene Badezimmer, der Pool inmitten eines tropischen Garten,...... Ich könnte noch so viel aufzählen! Doch das mit Abstand Beste war: Am Morgen von den Vögeln geweckt zu werden und den Dschungel vor dem Bett zu haben! Wir können nur jedem empfehlen: alle Schiebetüren am Abend auf, das Konzert der Tiere und die Nacht genießen! Es gibt nichts besseres! Klimaanlage ist nicht nötig, man braucht sogar eine dünne Decke und wir hatten nicht einen einzigen Moskito. Ich kann nur jedem, der etwas wirklich besonderes sucht, die Villa Mahadevi empfehlen.

Everything is good!!! especially is decorate and design in this villa is sooooo fabulous. every detail in a very good sense of beauty. This is the most beautiful villa I’ve ever been with it!!

If there must to say something don’t like maybe is the position, is not very near with the central Ubud. but I think it’s not a problem cause you can call a driver in 5 mins.

It is one of my favorite getaways in Ubud.. Amazing surroundings, in the jungle, Joglo no1 is beautifully lit and it looks incredible in the night.. this was my 4th or 5th time there.. and i will definitelly return.. The staff is also very kind and helpful always
