maybe cleanliness, quite dusty. Minor point but bath sheets would be better than bath towels The printed stickers with dos and donts in the house are a little off putting The key safe is at ground level by the front door at top of steps and next to a sheer drop in the garden . If the keys fell down there you would have no chance of retrieving them Also for some of us having to get down on to our hands and knees to operate the key safe is very difficult

Great location and property, had all we needed for a super stay in Ryde. We really enjoyed our visit and would certainly stay again. Superb value for money.

For the cost of the property it was really great value. Only thing was a lock on the bathroom wld be helpful.

The property has the potential to offer amazing holiday accommodation. The rooms are large and airy and the house is close to Ryde Hight Street and a short walk from the Fastcat and Hovercraft ports and the beaches! But and it’s a big but please see the negative issues …

The property was dirty and neglected. There were crumbs, dirt and staining on most surfaces - floors, tables, countertops and furniture. Several of the lights didn’t work because bulbs had not been replaced and in the main bathroom the light cord for the over the sink light was missing. The shower trap in the main bathroom was clogged with hair and soap scum. Heaven only knows when that was last cleaned. The toaster was old, rusty and full of crumbs from previous use. The recycling bin was filthy and rusty. Wallpaper was peeling in several rooms and door and cupboard handles were loose or missing. It simply felt dirty and neglected. The outside areas were overgrown and full of weeds. The garden was unusable and there was lots of broken furniture discarded in it. When we lifted one of the countertop protectors to clean a few crumbs we saw that there was filth and grim underneath which had clearly not been touched in months. The fridge and freezer seals had black mould on them. We did contact the agents, Isle of Wight Vacations, who demanded photographs to prove our complaint. Then heard nothing and so when I phoned, I was advised that they had raised our complaint with the cleaner who had denied there was anything amiss and had had a blazing row with the agents. I was told the cleaner had resigned and so my complaint now meant they were a cleaner down and did I know how difficult it would be for them to find a replacement! And there was me thinking I was the customer. I invited the agent to visit and see for himself but this invitation was not taken up. No redress was offered save that if I cut my stay short they would refund the balance of my stay. It was Easter week and so alternative accommodation was very expensive and so not really an option. In all the time I have booked through booking.com, I have never had such a bad problem or adverse experience with the owner or agent.

Great location , car park just down the road a few minutes walk . Beds comfortable. Beautiful house with lovely garden . Everything you could need . Would definitely stay here again .

Location and size of property were great

Radiator in one of the bedrooms won’t turn off and instructions re check in and check out very dictatorial

Location was great right in the centre of Ryde town and close the Train, buses, Ferry and Hovercraft. Also shopping, eating out and grocery stores were very handy. Even though it was winter mouths we manage to see a lot of the sites and activities. Locals were very helpful too. The heating and hot water system was playing up and management gave us heater and had it fixed the next day, all good. I would happily stay there again.
