"Great house, perfect spot, everything in walking distance"

We really loved the house. Perfect spot in York. We arrived by train so we went everywhere by foot which was easily done. Around a 5 minute walk to the start of the city. Castle museum, Clifford’s tower and Coppergate being the closest. Would love to return. Defo recommend!

"Superb"

Great little house, tastefully decorated and located within walking distance of York centre. Very cosy and comfortable with lots of modern conveniences.

The weather was warm when we stayed and the road noise when the windows were open was a little excessive

An amazing location with immaculate facilities. The property was stunning and we couldn't have asked for anything more, there were so many thoughtful touches to really make the stay so enjoyable.

Nothing, except the holiday wasnt even longer as it was such a lovely place to stay.

"A Brief Visit To York"

Streamlined, comfortable and very well equipped for cooking etc. The house is within a stone’s throw of the entrance to York’s city walls. Local shops, pubs are excellent and we can recommend eating at The Trinacria. York Minster is an easy 20 minutes walk away. Consider going to the Theatre Royal - it’s a good place for free loos and inexpensive lunch.

The catch on the bathroom door sticks and we had trouble getting terrestrial TV until we noticed that a wire had become unplugged from the back of the TV. After that terrestrial TV was fine. It’s a bit of a lottery to get a convenient parking space. We were lucky.
