Excellent location. Beautiful old historic house

Parking was remote from the property but well within walking distance and a bonus as parking is expensive in York. However the written instructions to get to the parking spot were incorrect. I had a house myself in York for many years so I have a good knowledge of the geography of the city and saw that the directions were wrong. Literally where it read right it should have been left and vice versa. Could be time consuming for someone who was new to the city.

The location is amazing, property beautiful, communication excellent.

very nice, very clean, perfect location

Loved the property, clean, had comfortable beds, the bathroom shower was large and felt great after a day in town. I would have loved to sink into the bath, maybe next time. Spent a lot of time sitting at the table in the kitchen. The little welcome hamper was a nice touch, thank you, we had a lovely stay and would recommend

My husband didn't like how far away the parking was, 8 mins walk from the property, it was dark when we parked and there were no lights and a lot of potholes; take a good torch. The additional toilet was a bonus, but it would not stop running after flushing; also had to be mindful when leaving this room, there is a step down onto the stairs.

Absolutely perfect location , very well presented inside with a amazing gift bag of goodies . Very well equipped kitchen .

Parkmöglichkeit zwar vorhanden, jedoch mit jeweils 10 min. Fussweg verbunden. Mit Kleinkindern und Krempel eher mühsam, jedoch konnten wir vor dem Haus jeweils abladen und der Fahrer/die Fahrerin musste den Fussweg allein bestreiten. Im Gross und ganzen wars sauber. Hier und da mal etwas von den Vorgängern unter den Möbeln etwas hervorgekramt worden (durch die Kinder).

Location is superb. Right next to the Minster and so about as central as one could be. Plenty of room in the property. Well stocked kitchen. Very good welcome hamper. Secure parking for one car (although a little bit of walk away). It is also very convenient for the train station (about 10 min walk away).

Very little. No toilet brush. It was unfortunate that a sparrowhawk had used the yard for eating pigeons. Nice to watch the sparrowhawk, not so nice to have the remains. But this is nature and not the fault of the property.
