Fabulous view and rural location. Very comfortable furnishings and wood burners made our stay relaxing. Interesting paintings and useful local information, it felt like staying in someone’s home..

The location is incredible, the house is comfortable and has everything what we needed. They left plenty of wood.

The locker where the keep the Keys is a nightmere.

"We enjoyed our stay overall, just a few little issues, parking the main one."

7.0

No breakfast as it was self catering. Location was fine, nice views to the sea, but a bit of a pain having to go through two field gates all the time, especially when it was raining. We have a Range Rover so couldn’t get it in the drive, access was limited and slippy, it would have been a struggle in a normal car.I left the first gate open as we were going out again and the farmer who owns the field came knocking telling us off , also saying we can’t park outside the cottage and when we explained our car was to big for the driveway, he said move it now and park down the road ! This is not acceptable as there is no parking place on the narrow lane and I'm not leaving a £100,000 car on the road! That said, it would have involved a trek up the hill to the cottage and frankly with luggage etc thats not going to work for us as we have a few health issues. The cottage is lovey for a couple on a short break, close to aberdaron beach, just make sure you have everything as it’s a little remote. A little welcome pack would have been nice, milk for tea if nothing else.

Parking. The key box was a pain as it was difficult to open , and in the wind and rain its quite frustrating. Grumpy farmer ! Not much fuel for the fires on arrival, no information that there was more in the shed round the back, not a big deal I know, but when the wind and rain is blowing in and you have just got in,its a little frustrating.

"Relaxing break on the Llyn peninsula."

10.0

Everything really. I just wish we lived closer. It is a perfect place for a ‘Get away from everything’ sort of break. Really beautifully furnished and it is clear that the owners use it themselves. It was such a personal place and we could imagine it as a home.
