Loved the location. Could park our car on the street and then walk everywhere in York. Although we didn't use the kitchen for cooking, it was very convenient for snacks and glassware.

The items left to welcome us were lovely

The location was awesome on an incredibly quiet street . It was safe and easy to walk to a grocery store, the train station and into the city centre. The decor was lovely. It was excellent to have 2 full bathrooms upstairs and a 2 piece on the main floor. The patio room gave an airy feel when we kept the doors open. The welcome supplies were very useful. A good supply of dishes and utensils. The furniture in the living room was very comfortable. the host got back to me right away when there was a minor issue with a sink drain.

All 3 of us need to use the toilet during the night. The bedroom on the top floor was up a set of quite steep, narrow stairs . It would have been a trek to reach a toilet while 1/2 asleep. As it turned out, we were there in the September heat wave. That room was so very, very warm that my brother slept on the sofa downstairs the first night . He found it so comfortable that he happily used it all 5 nights. The 2 piece on the main floor eliminated the stairs at night for him. So it worked out quite well for us. The two door keys were a challenge. The top one was a bit stiff but OK once we got used to it. The bottom one we locked at night from inside.

Excellent location and really easy to walk into the centre of York. Tastefully decorated / furnished and very well equipped. Delighted that our little dog was accommodated too. The welcome items were a much appreciated surprise, so too was the supply of some basics (dishwasher tablets, cloths, toilet roll, soaps)

The locks on the patio doors were a bit fiddly but really not a big problem.

Location. Comfort. Cleanliness. Facilities.

Heating. Felt too warm, even using radiator valves.

Excellent location for getting into town centre, but peaceful area for stay. House was very well equipped with a lovely welcome pack on arrival.

Shower pressure was somewhat low!
