"Was lovely!"

Great location and very spacious. Host was lovely. He recommended some lovely bars and was so helpful on arrival. The outside area was lovely. Beautiful kitchen and dining area

Toilet seats were a little loose but not a huge issue. Few cobwebs and dead spiders. Could do with a door curtain on front door

"Central spacious accommodation with everything you need"

Our favourite accomodation of our trip! The apartment was spacious and the private courtyard was gorgeous. There was secure parking and the kitchen had everything you could need. The walk into York was lovely and the owner left a list of great restaurant recommendations! Thanks so much

"Location perfect, accommodation perfect , host perfect. John could not have been more helpful."

The location was perfect, a few minutes walk through lovely museum gardens and you were in the centre. The accommodation was lovely. Very quiet, spacious , clean and secure. John met us and showed us around as well as explaining how to get into York via museum gardens or walk by river. Thanks, John. When we visit York again we shall definitely use this property.

"Lovely place in a great location."

Location was ideal, with an easy short walk into the city. The property was in a quiet and pleasant gated community with a dedicated parking area. The house was clean, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The garden was beautiful (weather did not allow us to use it very much but on a sunny day I could imagine it is a lovely outdoor space) The host was welcoming and helpful.

Not a major issue, but the curtians in the bedrooms are not lined, so lots of light gets through, especially early in the morning.

"Perfect stay"

The location was great. The Lodge was perfectly presentable. Easy, no fuss access. The lodge was walk in ready, everything needed for a perfect stay was made available.
