Honey Bee Lodge With Hot Tub

Great little lodge, lovely lakeside plot, really nice, upmarket park with excellent facilities.

It would be even better if additional towels were provided (given it is a hot tub lodge, 2 per guest are needed really for it to be perfectly convenient/comfortable), and sufficient loo roll should be there for the length of stay! Small details though - we had a great time.

We didn't actually stay in Honeybee, because there was a problem with the Lodge. The owners got intouch a few days before the explain that we, would have to stay in a different Lodge. We have stayed on this site a few times, it's a really nice site with beatiful views, the lodges are always big, clean and well equipped with very comfy beds .Love the hot tub andJJ's restaurant serves delicious food. So didn't mind getting a different Lodge we knew that we'd love it and we did. Can't wait for our next visit.

We've stayed in Lodges with hot tubs on different sites most have 15.00 check in this site it's 16.00 which is a bit late. The Lodge was very clean but not spotless crumbs left on the side. The carpet and bedding were clean but had a few staines. On our last night of our stay we had no hot water We didn't discover this until it was too late to ring anyone. reception doesn't open until 9am. they did offer to send someone when we rang but as we had to check out at 10 wouldn't have had time for a shower. Non of this spoilt our stay just, something for owners to be aware of.

From the gate I see all very cleaned..Honey bee lodge was unexpected...brand new everything and really enjoyed..100% I back to enjoy again this magic place.

We stayed in the honeybee lodge for 2 days. The place was very clean and a good luxury standard. The surroundings were well maintained beautiful little lake opposite our lodge with ducks and a Swan. The hot tub was good fun and well maintained. The kitchen had an intergrated dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a good quality gas hob, fridge freezer and clean kitchen utilities. They had left 1 black bag, a little bottle of washing up liquid, 2 dish washing tablets and 2 toilet roll. We could have done with an extra toilet paper, black bag and maybe a washing machine tablet. As there were 3 adults and 1 child and we had ran out of items. It was not enough for our 2 nights unfortunately. The communication was a bit poor as we had messaged them to extend our arriving and leaving times but they had replied very last minute. Despite this though a very good and relaxing time! Would recommend this retreat!
