PARAISO DE ALVOR - A true paradise in an amazing nature place with direct access to the pool - Peace and relax - next to Alvor Village and the beach

This accommodation was not as advertised…it is converted Studio Apartment with inferior renovations . The pool are tired and showed signs of decay.

The host was very helpful, the area was quiet, the garden and swimming pool were in excellent condition and were perfect for family with children

Nice community garden with pool. Parking free and right outside apartment.

Both bedroom door and bathroom door jammed when opening and closing. which is inconvenient at night when other people sleeping as made loud noise. Kitchen tap wobbling and needs attention. Bed rather small for 2 people. No toaster or teapot.

Everything was great.

The accommodation was in a huge residential area so it was very busy at the front of the property but as soon as you exited the property at the back you were in a gorgeous, landscaped garden with a lovely swimming pool. It was all grassed and very green and peaceful with lots of birds. A lot of the apartments were empty as it was June so it was never busy which was wonderful. It was very much a holiday area for Portuguese families which was nice. You do need a car or would need to get a bus as it is a 45 minute walk to a beach. The nearest town is a 15 minute drive away. There are big supermarkets about a ten minute drive away too. Joanna, our host was great. She sent us clear instructions on how to get to the property and when we realised we had equipment missing in the kitchen she quickly brought us replacements.

The accommodation was very simple but the description of it was slightly misleading as it sounded as if we had an oven and a BBQ but we didn’t. To cook something you used a combination microwave which was slightly restrictive although you did have a hob. The BBQ was a plug in electric grill which we didn’t use but no one had BBQ’s in the complex so I think they weren’t allowed. The bed/bedroom is very small.
