Large Holiday Home perfect for family gatherings

Lots of room for family to mix with alternative entertainment with games room, hot tub etc. Comfortable beds, great kitchen with 3 ovens etc. Beautiful garden and good location for us. We had a wonderful time and were lucky enough for fantastic weather.

Kitchen cupboards and bin could all do with a good clean and consolidation of equipment. Did not need a massive TV in every room, I would have preferred a couple of chairs and a chest of drawers on which to put stuff in the bedroom. Another bathroom would not go amiss or a separate loo somewhere. The instructions for the house were quite bossy and intimidating. This could be made a bit more friendly

This was a stunning property with plenty space for everyone

Location of the house was great. Very handy for the local amenities in Brechin.

Simple things like plastic bin bags and black bin bags would have been useful. Refills for the soap dispensers.

The electronic gates did not work from the phone in the hall

We had the best time in the house, it was beautiful! The bedrooms/beds were all so pretty with super comfy mattresses. There’s two living rooms, a dining room and a kitchen so plenty of places inside to sit/relax. The outside is so pretty with a bbq area and hot tub plus a pool table/darts room right next to these so plenty to do and plenty of socialising areas. Ideal for big groups of friends or family, would love to stay here again and would highly recommend!

Location was peaceful

There are serious issues with cleanliness and hygiene at this property. On arrival, we couldn’t use any of the kitchen utensils as they were unclean. The cutlery drawer was full of debris. The oven glove was worn and dirty- it should have been discarded. We had to clean all utensils and wipe all surfaces in the kitchen before being able to prepare food. We expected better hygiene standards considering the cost of the stay. Furthermore, the fridge door was covered in finger prints and there were cobwebs in the corners of the kitchen. Additionally, the outside bins had not been emptied and the bin policy had not been previously followed as the recycling bins had been mixed up- containing other rubbish. The owner was informed of this and did offer to rectify the situation but we had sorted the kitchen ourselves as we needed to use these facilities asap. As the stay progressed, more issues came to light. One bedroom door handle didn’t work properly and the couple kept getting locked in their room. They had to bang on the door for someone to open their door from the outside of the room. Furthermore, the hot tub wasn’t easily accessible. There were no steps to safely get in and out of the hot tub therefore some guests couldn’t use this facility. The layout of the hot tub isn’t shown clearly in the photos advertised online. There were cobwebs throughout the property which we had to clear upon arrival. In the top floor small bedroom there was a strong smell of dampness. The toilet flush in the large bathroom was nearly inoperative as well as one of the sinks not working. Many of the carpets were stained throughout the house. There was large amounts of dust all over the furniture throughout the house. There was a playhouse outside( this isn’t shown in photos advertised). The play house is a serious health and safety risk for children. It is unusable, dirty and contains broken items which would harm a child. This should be concealed, fixed or demolished.

The property was very well presented and we especially loved the games room and the hot tub was lovely aswell

We were away for a family birthday and I can’t honestly say there was anything that we didn’t like,

Excellent stay with all the family. There was 16 of us in total and 3 dogs and it didn't feel overly cramped. All bedrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. Well stocked kitchen which made cooking easy. There was also a fancy coffee machine and TVs in most rooms to keep everyone entertained. We loved the games room and hot tub. Even in November we used it every night as it was heated. The garden is huge and secure so peace of mind with the dogs and young children. The local pubs were great and the people were very friendly.

No major complaints. Ideally more space around the dining table and an extra bathroom if I had to pick something but it's not enough to put me off coming back. Some instructions for the coffee machine would have been helpful but we figured it out eventually

Liked the location and the size of the house, and there was everything we needed on site , and liked the secure garden

The entrance in and out of hot tub ,would have preferred steps but only complaint

Spacious and comfortable had all the amenities plus more
