Well equipped, very very comfy bed, nice hot shower, great facilities

Nothing it was great

The location was lovely and the hut was wonderful. Very spacious, beautifully decorated and really quirky. Very peaceful apart from the sheep. Nice to have a sofa and TV for company if you're a lone traveller like me. Bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had a huge well lit mirror.

I didn't have a warm welcome. On arrival, I wandered around searching for someone and when someone did appear, they were showing a couple around for a wedding and she only very briefly indicated where to go to find my hut and where to park my car. No other info was given at all and I felt like a nuisance. I wanted a coffee, but there were only 4 of those UHT milk pots, not nearly enough for even 1 cup, and none left for the morning, but there was no one to ask for any more. I was only there for 1 night so didn't want to drive to the local town just to buy a whole bottle of milk only to waste most of it. In the morning there was no hot water for a shower, it was ice cold, but again, no one around at all to ask. The place was deserted. The hut needed a little TLC, for example one of the bedside lamps was missing. I think for the money, a little welcome gift would be nice, I travel a lot and usually you at least get a biscuit or some home made jam, if not wine/cake/chocolate. Especially in country properties that are marketed as luxury. Little touches need not cost the host much but mean a lot to guests.

It was a hot day so the hut was very warm on arrive and difficult to cool down by then. The next morning there wasn’t really any hot water so a cold shower wasn’t the best.

Wonderful wee hut. Spacious and beautifully decorated. So cosy and a great place to relax. 😎 Gorgeous stained glass on the door and wonderful attention to detail.
