having a personal onsen was wonderful. the Japanese style home made it feel like a home away from home. The location felt remote which was something we love and yet it was within walking distance from the main areas of Yufuin.

would be easier to get to with a car but we walked from the station in 25 minutes and it wasn’t bad.

Nice home away from the main Street, very quiet and cute cats around, the under table heater was great with the lovely cool mountain air flowing through the house, onsen water is crazy hot.

we had a small car (Yaris) which was easy enough to park but anything larger could get interesting

Lovely house, clean, complete facilities. There is an onsen as well. Good atmosphere and calm.

The road is quite narrow. Should have a private car is more convenient.
