The Nook Cottage In The Heart Of Northumberland

It felt like home, someone cared about this cottage and every part of it felt loved. It was luxurious and welcoming. Every room felt luxurious. The welcome pack for myself was a lovely touch, the welcome pack for my dog was such a wonderful surprise. The basket has more wood than you can use for the log burner. Great parking out the front with loads of space. There are lovely walks from the door for a morning/ evening walk, dog friendly pubs. The location was perfect for what I needed being within 30 mins of the sights I wanted to see. I'm looking forward to coming back.

The cottage was absolutely gorgeous. it is situated in a perfect location for exploring the Northumberland region. The cottage is designed in a very modern style, has all the facilities which are all to the highest standards. Very highly recommended!!

Location of Nook Cottage was great. Off the beaten path but close enough to places of interest made it perfect for our stay. Our lovely host Brynne was fast to respond to any questions about the area. Brynne loaned us a large pot to cook chili in when I decided to eat in on some of our nights. WE were within walking distance of some beautiful trails and the Village of Wark was adorable.

There was no clothes dryer, but that is quite typical in all of the cottages in the area.

Beautiful cottage. Very comfortable and cosy. Excellent sleep and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. John and Brynne have been very thoughtful about guidance and suggestions for visitors which was really helpful and easy to follow.

Comfortable, exceptionally clean, very well equipped and a great base to explore the beautiful surroundings of the cottage

Lovely cottage in a small village. Well planned and maintained cottage with practically everything you'd need for your stay. The owners supplied loads of useful information in folders for where to go or eat, as well as local attractions and walks.
