In the old town which is a beautiful contrast to the rest of Calpe. Beautiful small restaurants with very good food and service.

Had an 78 year old woman in our group who can handle stairs but shortly after arriving we realised the rise on the stairs ranged from 20cm (normal) to 25 cm on multiple steps. We gave her the first floor bedroom but still had to help her downstairs every time she left her room. I cannot understand how they were allowed to rent the building considering the rise on the stairs varied so enormously from 20cm to 25cm. Also when checking in I asked where could I park I was directed to a local free parking area down the street. Went to take the car out a few days later and it had been towed (€100 fine). I had not noticed signs (all in Spanish)for no parking on Saturdays because of market . I accept responsibility for not noticing but surely the mature man/ owner would have the common sense to advise me of signs which are not my native language. Also cooking facilities not good. Was aware of 2 ring stovetop being only cooking available but it didn’t work properly .

Que la habitación de arriba no tuviera aire acondicionado, se escucha mucho la calle y las escaleras son muy estrechas. Además, que haya un baño dentro de la habitación…

L'emplacement. Nous avons passé une seule nuit et n'avons pas utilisé la cuisine. Il est donc difficile de noter.

Hermoso lugar...edificio antiguo pero bien acondicionado excelente anfitrion
