Lovely apartment. Pool was open despite it being April and a bit chilly. Lots of lounge chairs as well as outdoor kitchen and washroom. House is spectacular with views for miles and three terraces. Everything you need is provided and Bernardo is a lovely host. My only suggestion to add is acrylic glasses for around the pool as obviously we wouldn't take glassware down there for drinks.

Everything was great about the accommodation. Nothing to complain.

Nothing. But a improvement point would be more diverse kitchen items for cooking.

The three level apartment was huge and fantastic, with multiple bedrooms and everything you could need. Private pool with a poolside cabana, kitchen and barbecue. Multiple balconies with sunset views of the national park. Private off street parking. Plus the owner, Bernadino, welcomed us and showed us around - such a friendly, knowledgeable guy and so helpful. One of the highlights of our month in Portugal. We would definitely rebook again.

Lovely property with amazing views. Good location if you're here to hike. the fireplace works great, so you won't ever be cold if you come in winter / shoulder months. Enjoyed our sole meeting with the owner, very funny guy!

Huge apartments, nice view!

Nestled in the quaint hills, this lodging offers an experience that blends rustic charm with some modern conveniences, making for a memorable stay. Its location boasts a stunning view, especially enchanting when the weather is clear. The whimsical roads leading up to the property add to the overall allure of the place. A highlight is the nearby church, which offers an even more breathtaking view of the surroundings. The house itself is well-equipped to welcome guests. It features efficient air conditioning and pellet heating, ensuring comfort regardless of the season. The presence of several balconies, one of which includes a BBQ, adds a nice touch, enhancing the outdoor living experience. The rustic vibe is consistent throughout, reminding you pleasantly of the house's setting in a small, hilltop village. The prospect of a swimming pool makes it an even more attractive destination for summer visits. The host deserves special mention for their pleasant demeanor and prompt assistance. When faced with a boiler issue, their swift and helpful response over the phone was commendable and greatly appreciated.

However, every rose has its thorns. The occasional boiler hiccup, requiring a trip downstairs to reset, could be seen as part of the house's old-world charm, though some might find it a slight inconvenience. The rain limited exploration opportunities, which was unfortunate but beyond control. A notable absence in the village is a small supermarket or café, which would have been convenient for breakfast and quick bites. This necessitated a short drive for meals, though this was somewhat mitigated by the delightful Café da Ponte, offering splendid views of the River Cávado and delicious meals.

Beautiful rural location with stunning views from all windows and balconies. Very well equipped. The pool and garden facilities are amazing including an outdoor kitchen and it felt very private. Met by owner Bernardinho who was very welcoming. Did not want to leave and would certainly book again. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

Nothing. A car is essential and local roads are quite narrow in parts so we were glad we hired a small car.
