- Very close to the train station, which makes it very convenient for travelling - Spacious and cosy, it was a very pleasant stay for us

Nothing - loved every part of the place

Our family of 5 loved this house. Our favourite stay in Japan. Loads of space, 2 top floor bedrooms, 2 twin beds off middle floor lounge. Excellent kitchen with large fridge, 2 toilets and great bathroom with bath and shower. Great to have washing machine too. Warm, comfortable and cosy. Excellent location, a few minutes to train, on river and easy stroll to centre of Gion, temples, market, restaurants and shops. Even had 2nd kitchen and lounge on ground floor

Digital front door lock took a moment to get used to, but was great to not need keys if wanted to return at different times.

We loved our stay at Miyakamo-an. So much space for our family of 5 over 3 levels. 2 toilets, bath, fully equipped kitchen with large fridge, washing machine, heating, comfortable beds and 3 separate sleeping spaces (2 single beds on 2nd floor, 2 separate bedrooms on 3rd floor, 1 with double beds and other with Tatami. Excellent location, 5 min walk to train on Keihan line, easy walking to Gion, Nishiki Market and temples.

Nothing. Steep stairs which may not suit everyone but no issue for us. Can be some traffic noise, but also not an issue

Cleanliness, walkable from bus stop, facilities and amenities. The owner quickly responds. The property is very Kirei. I will probably book again if I'll go back in Kyoto.

It was not a big issue. But the entrance lock system takes a while to get used to.

The big space to stretch Cozy

The accomodation was very clean, and the layout was great. Excellent kitchen appliances, since we stayed almost 3 weeks this was important to us. the same level bathroom and laundry was great! Very nice home is an area convenient to restaurants, attractions and close to stations. We would stay here again for sure, and highly recommend. Has lots of space if you were travelling with family. Two toilets was unexpected... again if you had kids with you it would be very useful. The old traditional room was beautiful. Very charming traditional house.

WiFi was pocket WiFi, so a bit slower if you were working. But is was functional for sure.

Authentic Japanese feel. Walking distance to Gion and shopping areas. 3 storey property.

Busy main road. Single glazed windows. Lots of traffic noise. No toilet on upper level, very steep slippery stairs.
