You can walk to the piscinas and all other attraction are not too far. The garden is very pleasant. It is nice to have a space outside to have lunch and relax. We had a whole house for us and plenty of room.

The house has no heating, so it can be very cold (we visited in April). We got 2 small heaters later, but it was not enough for the whole house.

We mostly enjoyed the location of the accomodation. Down the road there were the natural pools and a small restaurant with sea view a terrace. Further the swimming pool of the Lagoa was amazing (the best we found in the Azores). Also the supermarket in Lagoa was way above average. The house itself was spatious (big rooms) and has a small garden. Furhter the welcoming basket with some local snacks/wine was appreciated

The maintenance of the house was below average: Old very basic bathroom, kitchen had only old stuff (blunt knifes, broken trashbin) which was annoying during cooking. Finding a parking spot was also difficult

Casa Cruzeiro is fantastic! It's located in Lagoa, a perfect starting point for every trip you want to make on the island. Lagoa itself is a quiet town, but has everything you need for a nice stay: Two supermarkets close by, the sea (with natural pools) around the corner and a few restaurants. The owners, Milton and his wife, were incredibly helpful and kind. We stayed for three weeks and in this time we had quite a few questions about the island and some requests. One of them being that the oven did not work properly. They had it replaced the day after we mentioned it, without any delay. They even thanked us for letting them know something was not right. We were so grateful for their quick responses and actions! Milton also provided us with a lot of nice island recommendations. The house has three bedrooms, a bathroom, fully furnished kitchen, living room and a spacious backyard. Towels, beachtowels, kitchen towels and bedlinnen are included, which was fantastic. There is a washing machine and drying rack in the shed in the garden. This saved us a lot of space packing our luggage. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit the beautiful island of Sao Miguel. I can only think of two recommendations to the owners: 1. If you ever think about remodelling the house, I would add a second bathroom if possible. It can get a little crowded with six people using one bathroom. 2. I would add a few more outdoor lounge chairs, we loved using the garden to read and lounge! However, I do understand most people do not stay as long as we did. Most people will be out of the house for 90% of their time on the island, so these additions would not matter to them much. Thank you so much for our stay!

The charm of the apartment is its spaciousness, proximity to the ocean and opportunities for walking along the ocean shore. The host provided a comprehensive overview of nearby attractions, restaurants and beaches. A gift basket was waiting on the table. For those who are not afraid of cold water, it is also possible to swim safely in natural pools during the winter months.

Very big house, excellent location close to the beach and waterfront, wide garden area, good facilities, WiFi speed, courtesy local food provided by the host.

To say something, one of the doors to the balcony did not close perfectly well, double bed could be a bit wider and WiFi does not cover the upper floor.
