"Left a day early… did not enjoy!"

It was very clean. There was no order. Bedding was very clean.

No internet. Hot tub was broken… hard to start and then hard to stop. Microwave’s short cut buttons didn’t work. We had to key in the times. Too many bugs. Drive way was really bad. Finally, the floors were very spongy. I felt like I could fall through the floors.

"Place was fair, certainly not worth the $864.48 we were charged for basically one lousy day."

Deck and Hot Tub where OK. Bedrooms decent. Kitchen was satisfactory.

Problem connecting the TV. Floors are terrible, they sag in many areas. We had originally booked this for 3 days for $755. We had a death in the family and they agreed to allow us to reschedule. We verified the three days where available that chose. When we arrived our check in time was 4PM on Monday. We spent Tuesday touring around. Wednesday we realized our dates somehow got screwed up and we had to checkout by 10 AM. We were late checking out but when I called to find out why they said it was how the rescheduled dates were entered in booking.com. They considered our stay as 3 days/2 nights???? Excuse me....we had one day. To top it off they added $109. to our fee and we ended up paying $864. for basically one lousy day. I wouldn't deal with this place or booking.com EVER AGAIN. Buyer beware!!!

The property was lovely! It was so peaceful, being somewhat secluded, and the patio and hot tub were perfect for relaxing. The proximity to the caverns and Shenandoah National Park made this our perfect vacation spot!

we were a bit disappointed with the “river access” as it was quite a long walk from the cabin.
