Nice place a few minutes' drive from Madalena and supermarkets, close to vineyards and with a beautiful view on Faial, esp. at sunrise and sunset.

Excellent value, great host, nice house, well stocked and plenty of space. Nice house. Near some lovely vineyards.

It was winter and particularly cold and wet weather when we were there and the house is not the warmest. But it would not be a problem the rest of the year.

A lovely big house, plenty of space for 6, although we were only 2. Kitchen well equipped, plenty of cutlery, pans, plates, cups etc. Small terrace with views down to the sea. Double bed was comfortable. Quiet, but most of the island is quiet, easy to get to from the airport, couple of good supermarkets within 10 minutes. Keys easy to access and good communication from owner. Off road parking for one car.

It was cold, unusually so for March, and there's no heating or portable heater. In better weather this house would be perfect.

Pleasantly furnished house, homely atmosphere. Terrace with sea view. Good communication with the host.

Less accessible parking place.

The house was musty. Could have used a dehumidifier.

Almost everything was fine.
