Bracara luxury guesthouse

The house was so big and very clean. The host was so nice that left us a super breakfast! The property has a garage and a garden. 20 min walk from the center.

The host was delightful, bubbly and very friendly. The home on paper looks great, it was large with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, sunken lounge area, large dining area, internal stairs to 4 bedrooms, big kitchen all set over 3 floors etc. The breakfast supplied was generous and included a bottle of wine. Close to a few good restaurants and attractions.

However the property needed a lot of repairs. bathroom hand basins were cracked, many power points didn’t work, one bathroom tap broken. The beds were very firm and were not very comfortable. In my bedroom odd length curtains were hung. Unfortunately with a busy road at the back of the property, the traffic noise continued late into the night. The downstairs laundry/garage area had very strong bleach smell? At one point this was a lovely home, but it does need some work to get it back up to its former glory which could be possible. In our view the property price should have been lowered to reflect the list of problems that currently exist.
