Very friendly helpful owner. Met us on arrival. Gave us restaurant recommendations and all the info we needed. Kindly left us food and drink in the fridge, a bottle of wine and cake freshly baked by his mother! Delicious. A compact ground floor apartment in a bigger house, but everything you need is in it. In the hills above Macher, great views, enjoyed my morning walks. Loved the jacuzzi outside

Bed was a little too soft for us, maybe invest in a new mattress

The room is cold, damp, there is mold. It smells very bad, it looks like you live in a basement or garage. I don't understand how other vacationers rate it so high, it's misleading

After having read all the amazingly positive comments, I was quite disappointed of my stay in this flat... Nonetheless, there are positive aspects: 1) Super friendly host who provided pieces of advice and thoughtful gestures (food for breakfasts, name written in the entrance, plenty of towels). 2) A rather quiet area that is conveniently located (few minutes by car from supermarket, 30-45 min drive to the most beautiful southern beaches, 45-60 min drive to the northern attractions). 3) Equipped kitchen (fyi, no oven), TV, washing machine.

1) Even if you air the flat by leaving all the windows open (it is difficult to do that during the night in December...), the flat is super HUMID and MOLDY. There is no ventilation and the sun does not enter the flat. The smell coming out of the bathroom drawer is really pungent.... DO NOT STAY there is you suffer from ASTHMA or have a weak RESPIRATORY SYSTEM (I had issues breathing during the night, it happened every night I slept there). The owner should (or rather must) buy a dehumidifier to make this place healthy again. 2) There was not much intimacy since there is actually a road passing in front of the house (drivers could see us while we were on the terrace - this is something you do not see on the online pictures). Besides, other people are renting other part of the house, and the ones above the flat could see us in the jacuzzi from their balcony. We could also hear them in the morning while we were still on bed. 3) Some appliances/devices are a bit old (the sofa is not confortable at all, the pan needs to be changed, the microwaves is rusty and makes noise) and/or do not work any more (the lamp of the extractor hood was not working - not really convenient to see what you are cooking at night, the electric candles & the lighters for candles were not working). 4) The jacuzzi is basically used as a swimming pool. The amount of chlorine almost burn the eyes - one cannot stay too long. Moreover, given the clarity and cleanliness of the water, it is not changed every time new guests arrive...

Me and my partner were looking for a cozy place to spend our holiday and Mi abeto delivered that since day one. We arrived late and were welcomed by Jose who had left some food and drinks for us (very useful if you arrive late as we did!). The apartment was clean and well maintained and the jacuzzi was the cherry on the cake! This is by far our best experience in Lanzarote and happy to have met Jose and Lola which made our stay in Lanzarote even more special. Thank you Ilenia and Luke
